UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria
- Only those candidates who have participated in the NEET UG 2024 examination and have qualified the NEET examination 2024 will be considered eligible for UP NEET UG 2024 counselling.
- For admission to MBBS/BDS courses in all the medical colleges/autonomous state medical colleges/universities/institutions/dental colleges and minority institutions of the state, it is necessary for the candidate to be a native of Uttar Pradesh. For this purpose, a domicile/usual residence certificate will not be necessary for those candidates who have passed both high school and intermediate or equivalent examinations from Uttar Pradesh.
- For those candidates who have passed one or both of the high school/intermediate examinations from outside Uttar Pradesh and are natives of the state of Uttar Pradesh, for them the Domicile/Usual Residence Certificate will have to be submitted in the Appropriate format of the Government.
- For admission in private sector medical/dental colleges/medical universities/minority institutions of the state, it will not be mandatory for the candidate to be a native of Uttar Pradesh or to have passed high school and intermediate examinations from Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have passed high school and intermediate examinations from other states of India will also be eligible.
UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: Required Documents
To participate in the counseling candidates will compulsorily register online with the registration fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rs. Two thousand) through the website https://upneet.gov.in. Before registration candidates should have the required documents listed below and candidates should also check their eligibility his/herself as per GO issued for UP on the DGMEUP official website.
The candidates will have to upload the following documents while submitting their online applications for counseling registration.
- National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2024 Application
- National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2024 Roll NO.
- Registered Email Address and Mobile number as NEET UG 2024 Application
- High School Mark sheet and certificate.
- Intermediate Mark sheet and certificate.
- Certificate related to reservation (OBC, SC, ST, EWS & EX. Army, NCC, FF, PwD) (issued by the competent authority on the format prescribed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh).

Uttar Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 Registration Fees
During online registration for Uttar Pradesh MBBS & BDS Counselling candidate needs to make payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of Rs. 2,000/- Fee which can be valid for both for 1st & 2nd Round counselling.
Candidate who not registered for 1st round counselling process may appear in 2nd round counselling by
depositing a non-refundable Registration fee of Rs. 2,000/-
For Mop-up round every candidate (if eligible) needs to get registered online by depositing the non-refundable Registration fee of Rs. 1,000/-
UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: Security Money
Security money for UP NEET UG 2024 counselling must be deposited online before filling choice Filling &
Locking because candidates who do not deposit the Security money will not be eligible for choice filling.

After depositing the Security money, the candidate will have to download the receipt of the Security money.
After the completion of the entire round of counselling, if no seat is allotted to the candidate, then in such a case his/her security deposit amount will be returned as per the rules to the same bank account from which the payment was made.
The security money will be returned to the candidates after taking admission in government/private sector medical colleges/dental colleges.
For those candidates who do not get admission after allotment, their earnest money will be confiscated.

In accordance with the instructions given in the Government Order No. 950/71-2-82/2017 dated 07.03.2018 of Medical Education Section-2. The Candidates who take admission to Undergraduate (MBBS/BDS) courses in Government Medical/Dental Colleges/Institutes/Universities in Uttar Pradesh to fill a bond related to compulsory government service.
The Compulsory Government Service Bond has many conditions and restrictions. In case of deviation from the bond, the concerned candidate (except medical officers holding MBBS degree of PMHS cadre) will have to pay the amount of the bond amount 10 lakh Rupees to the state government.
Uttar Pradesh MBBS bond amount will be deposited in the state treasury by the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh through the Principal/Director/Registrar after completing all the formalities at the concerned medical college/institute/university level. In case of deviation from the bond, if any candidate does not deposit the bond amount, then it will be recovered like land revenue.
